Literally a whole new concept for those seeking automotive entertainment on the move, the SPH-EVO62DAB is here to change perceptions of what’s possible with in-car audio.

With a whooping 6.8inch resistive touchscreen display with a hideaway control unit that installers can tuck into separate compartments of any automobile, almost any vehicle ever made can now benefit from a Double DIN screen, providing vehicles with limited dash space a premium upgrade solution for every possible entertainment need.

Smartphone connectivity is now the key to a head unit that remains both socially acceptable and functional, so Pioneer has built in both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for perfect on-the-move entertainment, navigation and social connectivity, no matter what’s going on with the road ahead. Thanks to built-in Spotify, Waze, Bluetooth connectivity for up to two phones and streaming ability for almost unlimited online accessible content, you’ll never be left wanting more music or movies than the SPH EVO can deliver.

Sound quality, an element of audio that Pioneer is renowned for, is catered for comprehensively. With specially selected audiophile-grade components loaded into the separate control unit, this is one head unit that’s set to ignite the market and prove that big audio dynamite is still exciting and inspiring.

A 13-band GEQ, Auto Time alignment and Auto EQ comes as standard across the board (operational via an optional microphone), while low and high pass frequency filters are also built into the audio of the unit with a trio of 4v high voltage pre-outs to allow for further system expansion with external amplifiers.

The SPH-EVO62DAB as it's current form can be used as a double din application. All you need to do is use the supplied brackets, assemble the unit and use a Connects2 fitting kit, then you are good to go!
