Description
The JL Audio XDM1000/5 is designed for audiophile-grade full-system amplification, combining four full-range channels with a powerful dedicated subwoofer channel in a single compact amplifier. Delivering 100 W x4 @ 2 Ω and 600 W x1 @ 2 Ω, it provides clean, dynamic power for component speakers and a subwoofer without the need for multiple amplifiers.
At the heart of the XDM1000/5 is JL Audio’s NexD™ high-speed Class D switching technology, allowing exceptional efficiency, low heat output and outstanding sound quality from a remarkably small footprint. The amplifier is equally suited to car or marine installations, thanks to its marine-grade materials, corrosion-resistant finish and dual-mode input filter for noise-free operation in challenging environments.
The onboard signal processing is highly flexible, featuring independent crossover sections for each channel group. The amplifier can be configured as a true 3-way active system, with high-pass, band-pass and low-pass filtering adjustable from 50–500 Hz, plus an x10 multiplier extending high-pass adjustment up to 5 kHz. Optional HD-RLC or MHD-RLC remote level controllers (sold separately) allow convenient control of overall output or subwoofer level from the driver’s seat or helm.
Finished in a sleek black powder-coated chassis, all controls are protected beneath a gasketed removable top cover, ensuring durability, easy setup and a clean, professional installation.
