Description
The JL Audio XDM1000/1 is a high-power monoblock Class D subwoofer amplifier engineered for car and marine applications. Delivering 1000 W RMS @ 2 Ω and 600 W RMS @ 4 Ω, this amp uses NexD™ high-speed switching technology for maximum efficiency and minimal distortion in a compact chassis. Its marine-grade construction and dual-mode input filter ensure noise-free performance, even in challenging boat or vehicle environments. Automatic turn-on via signal sensing or DC-offset sensing allows easy integration with factory audio systems.
Tailored for subwoofer applications, the XDM1000/1 features a variable slope low-pass filter (50–500 Hz) and a defeatable infrasonic filter (30 Hz, 24 dB/oct.) for precise bass tuning. Optional HD-RLC or MHD-RLC remote level controllers (sold separately) provide fingertip control of bass levels directly from the driver’s seat or helm. The sleek, black powder-coated chassis conceals all controls beneath a gasketed, removable top cover for easy access and clean installation.
This amplifier is ideal for audiophiles seeking high-output, clean subwoofer power in a compact, durable package suitable for both car and marine installations.
