The JL Audio JD700/5 5-Channel Class D Amplifier is designed to simplify system installation while delivering powerful, high-quality audio performance. By combining a 4-channel full-range amplifier and a dedicated monoblock subwoofer amplifier in a single compact chassis, it provides a complete solution for driving speakers and a subwoofer from one unit. Using JL Audio’s efficient Class D design, the JD700/5 produces up to 100 watts per channel for the main outputs and 300 watts for the subwoofer channel at 2 ohms (14.4V, <1% THD).

Advanced signal processing allows precise tuning for a wide range of system layouts. Channels 1 and 2 feature selectable high-pass or low-pass filters with extended frequency ranges, while channels 3 and 4 offer high-pass or bandpass operation. The dedicated subwoofer channel includes a low-pass filter and adjustable bass boost EQ, delivering controlled low-frequency output. A channel input mode switch supports 2-, 4-, or 6-channel input configurations, reducing the need for additional adapters.

Built for dependable everyday use, the JD700/5 includes differential-balanced inputs for compatibility with line-level and speaker-level signals, comprehensive protection circuits, and optional RBC-1 remote level control for convenient subwoofer adjustment from the driver’s seat. Its compact footprint and efficient thermal design make it ideal for space-conscious installations without sacrificing output or sound quality.
