Description
Engineered specifically for powersports applications, the JL Audio MX280/4 4-channel amplifier delivers clean, reliable power without overloading vehicle charging systems. Its high-speed NexD™ Class D switching design ensures efficient audio output, producing 70 W x 4 into 2 ohms or 50 W x 4 into 4 ohms at 14.4V (1% THD). Fully bridgeable, this amplifier can be configured as a 3-channel or 2-channel amplifier for even more versatility, offering 140 W x 2 into 4 ohms.
The MX280/4 features independent front and rear crossovers with selectable full-range, high-pass, or low-pass filter controls. Dual-range inputs accommodate both line-level and high-power speaker-level signals, giving installers flexibility when integrating into various powersports audio systems. Its compact, cast-aluminum chassis is corrosion-resistant and IPX7-rated for water resistance, while a rugged powder-coated finish, gasketed control cover, and stainless steel hardware ensure durability in harsh environments.
