Complete stereo upgrade kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain the use of the steering wheel controls in select Vauxhall vehicles.

Fakra to DIN aerial adapter cable with 12v phantom power

This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.

Steering wheel control interface

CANbus interface to maintain the steering wheel controls. This interface will also adapt from the quadlock connector in the car to standard after market ISO connectors. Provides a CANbus, powered antenna, ignition output, speed pulse, reverse gear signal and hand brake signal. This interface will also allow you to use the car's original steering control buttons to access the original display screen to update the time and date settings.

UNICAN patch lead set  

Patch cable set to connect a UNICAN interface between an after market head unit and the steering wheel controls. Can be used with Alpine, Kenwood, JVC (single wire), Pioneer, Sony and Chinese/Resistive learning head units with either two wires or a 3.5mm jack.

Double DIN fascia with fitting cage 

This fascia adapter panel is to fit a double din aftermarket radio. The fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. The fascia is a silver finish and is a flush mount style so it replaces the radio trim supplied with the aftermarket radio. This gives a flush professional finish to the installation. The fascia is supplied with a double din fitting cage. Standard cages supplied with aftermarket radios are too big for the fascia trim. The Matt Chrome colour fascia is commonly in Vauxhall Corsa D, Astra H and Zafira B cars.
