Adding the DB Audio XTINCT12v2 Subwoofer into the mix completes a brutal, window-flexing bass package.
When you load the XTINCT12v2 into the custom-fit In Phase BX12XTNT slot-ported box and feed it with the IPA7001D monoblock amplifier, you create a perfectly matched system built for high Sound Pressure Level (SPL) performance.
System Performance Breakdown
Perfect Impedance Match: The XTINCT12v2 features Dual 2-Ohm voice coils. By wiring these coils in parallel, you drop the final load down to 1 Ohm.
Safe Headroom Power: At a 1-Ohm load, the In Phase IPA7001D pushes out 3500W RMS of clean Class D power. Because the XTINCT12v2 handles 1500W to 2000W RMS, this amplifier setup gives you plenty of dynamic headroom. You can reach peak volume without clipping the audio signal or overheating the sub.
Box Optimization: The BX12XTNT enclosure is engineered with a specific internal volume and slot-port shape that matches the air-displacement needs of the XTINCT driver. This prevents nasty port chuffing and lets the sub comfortably drop into sub-30Hz bass frequencies.
