The ARC Audio RS 1.0 is a refined 1-inch audiophile-grade tweeter expertly designed to elevate the high-frequency detail in active DSP-based or OEM car audio systems. Built around a low-mass, fine-weave soft-dome diaphragm and powered by a high-strength neodymium motor with a secondary bucking magnet, it offers smooth, extended response from approximately 2.2 kHz to 22 kHz with impressive clarity and minimal distortion. Its motor assembly features a machined copper cap that reduces inductive distortion, while the solid die-cast aluminium chassis and rear-tuned, vented chamber enhance thermal dissipation and lower the resonant frequency - ensuring stable performance even under demanding listening sessions.
Rated at 60 W RMS (120 W peak) and 92 dB sensitivity into 4 Ω, the RS 1.0 delivers both efficient dynamics and extended headroom. The removable, machined-aluminium trim ring allows for either a sleek flush or ISO-style flush mount, making it flexible for custom and OE-style installations alike.
